In every truly remarkable hotel, there used to be one person who quietly held the keys to life – the concierge. Not just someone at a desk, but a keeper of secrets, stories, and connections. People used to say:
“A good concierge knows your wishes before you even think of them.”
In the golden days of luxury hospitality, the concierge was often more powerful than the hotel director – trusted, discreet, and somehow always one step ahead of your needs. They knew where to find the perfect table, the quietest walk, the flower shop that opened at 6 a.m. – and the person to call if your suitcase missed its flight.
This little collection is my version of that tradition. It’s personal. Many of these places carry a memory, a conversation, a tiny magic moment. And if you visit one of them – feel free to pass on my regards. In our hotel world, there’s an invisible thread that connects us. In the real world, it’s often surprisingly strong and steady.
