Tonight at the Bar Talk, itâs about to get loud. BeyoncĂŠ might stop by â and weâre not sure who sheâs bringing.
She once said that âher work is a source of confidence and personal power.â
And honestly? I feel the same.
I wouldn’t be who I am today without the people Iâve met â and letâs be clear:
Most of them, I met them⌠through or related to work.
Work is a relative word. It can mean many things.
But at its core, it simply means: you have a purpose.
If youâre in the service world, you know the feeling: âI helped someone today. I made someone smile.â
That alone can be deeply fulfilling.
Among young people, I often hear: âI need a break after school â definitely not ready to work yet.â
And yes, rest is important. But months of colourful travel? Does it really refill your soul?
Or does it eventually create a feeling of being⌠unneeded?
Thatâs what BeyoncĂŠ means â and I would even go a bit further:
What makes us truly happy â assuming our health is okay?
- Spending time with loved ones
- Practicing gratitude
- Taking our work seriously â because it brings meaning, service, and contribution.
